HEY i cooked pasta for dinner...delicious...didnt eat the whole day....finally got a chance to buy groceries just now. Really interesting. The supermarkets are 5 times bigger than back home and everything is big big big.. now i have more food in more room...also made new frens from japan today-minho and yoshi, also justin. Had great chemistry and fun. who knows who i ll meet tmrw. cant wait to see my roomate from moldova.

Oh forgot to tell u what I am doing for the next 6 weeks.. I am attending Global Village for Future Leaders 2006 at Lehigh University Iacocca Institute. This place is at Bethlehem Pennsylvannia..There are 90+ interns from all over the world and I am one of them. It has field trips the companies, interactions with executives, entrepreneurial courses. Most importantly, cultural interaction with interns from the world. Oh and my room mate is from Moldova and I ve never heard of that place. Haha. Well I m also outnumbered so I cant pick up a fight with anyone. Cant wait to meet ppl from other countries and hope to see my guide soon...

Leaving my loved ones was tough and i had withdrawal symptoms with rash, lip infection and sore eye. What da hell!! and suddenly got allergy to alcohol. And my intention to drink with my new frens are dashed. Must be some curse. Haha.
The flight took 18 hours and i only slept for 3 hours..what did i do? grabbed lotsa food from the stewardess and asked for more stuff---postcards and cards and...toiletries. I m usually not someone who get hyped up with free stuff but I have to la.. U see! I cant let Uncle Sam make me spend. I m gonna be a scrounge.
Luckily, I met Leigh on the flight. Cute and nice guy. ok gals i ll fill u in about Leigh. He's 22, from Down Under, and he s working in Spore. He went for GV 2005 and is returning as a guide for GV governor's sch for high school students. And he won the country panel presentation at GV alone---cos he was the only one from auss. cool!!! got some tips from him. Yeah he saw me reading through GV papers and we started talking. woohoo i even got a comfy ride to Lehigh which would have cost me us20. No worries...just enjoy
wow and i saw fireflies. I tot they never existed...fireflies areso gentle and beautiful...i wanna catch one and show it to u guys back home..but i m scared of insects.. they release a transient blue glow and they dont disturb or bite. I love fireflies.
The people @ Lehigh are so warm and sweet...man cant wait to make more frens...I am the first person to check in and the whole level is QUIET....like i own the whole building...The air here is fresh and there are deers strolling ard. Its countryside with lush green trees and weeds. The area is quiet and scenic..very different from bustling Queenstown back home.
